Bette had been doing a lot of thinking lately, her life was wonderful when she had Lucian in her life. She loved him still, even after the cheating, but what would he say? Things have changed. She knew things could go bad, but didn't know where else to go. He was really the only one she had who loved her. Her parents had died and she had no one now. She got into modeling, which was an honest living, she loved it. Bette actually tracked down Lucian, and moved to be with him. Under the same city, but she had to see him. Bette knew he was a chef, so after the restaurant closed down. She decided to go talk to him. It was very strange of her to do this, this was so out of her character. It wasn't even funny, but she did what she thought was right. They left on bad terms, it's amazing to see the change time did for her. Bette stood outside the restaurant, nervous as hell. She bit her lip and knew it was time, she did this.
Humming lowly she was very nervous, her heart beating in her ears. Bette had permission to go in the back, for a moment she said nothing. Making sure not to make a sound, Bette then saw him. A soft smile seen on her face, taking a deep breath she silently let the breath die down silently. But question was, what to do? what to say? It confused her so much. But it was time to say something to him. She decided to go up to him, a soft smile grew bigger. She cleared her throat, and decided to say something, since he didn't have any thing to drop she walked over.
"Hello Lucian" She said kindly.

you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -It was another busy day, but that was normal for such a popular restaurant. Now all he wanted to do was go home and relax. Little did he know, someone was waiting for him outside. He had changed out of his uniform into a more comfortable outfit and stretched his arms over his head, bending backwards to stretch his spine. He heard a few of his co-workers snickering and whispering amongst themselves. He thought nothing of it and made his way toward the back entrance. He was too worn out to really notice anything around him.
He ran a hand through his golden hair that he wore down like usual when he worked. His bangs falling into his pale blue eyes and touching the tip of his nose. He pushed his bangs from his eyes and rested the heel of his head on his forehead, holding the hair up and yawned, deeply. He rubbed his eyes and looked around, not quite noticing the feminine figure off to the side. He made his way toward his car, when a familiar voice spoke his name. His fatigued body straightend up and his muscles tensed. His eyes widened and he slowly turned his head, then looked down at the woman in front of him. He blinked twice in confusion, then looked around to see if she was really talking to him. Once he confirmed that he was the only one there, he realized she actually did say his name. He offered a small, polite smile.
"Bonjour, ma chérie!" He greeted in his native language. He often preferred to speak French over English, but given his profession and where he was, English was most often needed. So he used simple phrases instead of full sentences most of the time, just in case. He then visibly looked her over, finding her somewhat familiar, but nothing coming to mind. He had seen so many women since he moved, his memories of home had all but been forgotten. He tilted his head and then it finally registered in his head. This caused his body to tense up once again after relaxing for that tiniest moment. He bit his lip, his weariness forgotten. He was relieved and excited to see her again, but at the same time confused. He thought she'd be hurt by his actions and never wanted to see him again. He had moved to get away from her and his past, but here she was again.
He then raised his arm up in an attempt to shield himself in case she had come to exact some kind of painful revenge. He cringed, involuntarily and peaked through his arm with one eye. "What are you doing here? I thought you were angry with me?" He whispered, harshly. He then looked around to make sure they were alone. Then a small smirk formed on his lips. "Unless it is true what they say about me. You can never get enough." He added, slyly. He then laughed softly to himself, amused by his own arrogance. He raised his guard again, bracing himself in case she took his joke the wrong way and struck him.
He had to admit she was as beautiful as she was when he first saw her, if not more. He then lost himself in his thoughts, feeling like he had seen her once before, but not in person. He shook it off and kept his arm up, tensing up and preparing for the worst.

Bette smiled looking at him, it felt like another life time since she saw him. The way he looked at her, she sighed a bit, it was like everything was dead to her, but him. Relaxing a bit she leaned against a bench and sat down. "A lot has changed Lucian, I have missed you. I was angry but I'm not any more. You were always sweet you still are, but my parents. They were killed in a car accident, a few months ago. You were the only person in my life that loved me, and no matter the past, my feelings for you hasn't died down. My love for you is even deeper now. "
She didn't know what to really say, he seemed like he hadn't changed at all. She was happy, but only when she was with him. It was strange, she seemed like a stalker, but she was in love. She laughed at his joke, she had a soft spot for him, and anyone could tell, she spoke in french. As she stroked his cheek in a very loving manner, she smiled and placed her hand on his cheek, he was still the same old Lucian. But it was something that made her want him.
"I regret breaking up with you, but it's hard. You had other girls, when you had me. Was I not a good girlfriend?, Ever since we broke up I haven't been in a relationship. I had one guy wanting to get in my pants, but no one has ever gone that far." Tears began to stroll down her cheeks as she hugged him. She was a strong woman, but she could not hold it in any more, as she cried in his chest. Rather shaken by the situation.

you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Lucian watched her, relaxing when he was sure his co-workers had all gone home. The fatigue was still present in his muscles, making his shoulders drop and push slightly forward, his hands resting limply by his sides. He tilted his head and gave a sad smile when she explained her parents' death. He had only met them a couple times but they were friendly and welcoming. He gave a low sigh, wanting nothing more but to lay down, but stayed focused on Bette. He tensed at the amount of the word love. In his heart he loved her, deeply. But he still had that old habit that he just couldn't shake it. He felt no emotional attachment to the men and women, but still he couldn't stop. He wanted to break it and have Bette be his only one, but it just wasn't that simple.
He tilted his head back, looking up in thought. He was pleased that she still loved him and he loved her, he just couldn't bring himself to actually act on the feelings and risk ruining their second attempt at a relationship. He gave a heavy sigh and then tensed when she touched him. The sudden contact startled him, but he quickly relaxed and leaned into her touch. It took what strength was left in his weary body to keep standing. Her voice soothed him and he slowly lifted a hand, placing it on the hand she kept on his cheek. He added the second hand, clasping it around her wrist. He then gently nuzzled the hand, grateful for the act of compassion. His eyes had slowly closed, his eyelids feeling like they were weighed down by cinderblocks.
Her words shocked him and he opened his eyes slightly, his eyelids partially shielding them. He gave a genuine look of worry and kept her hand in his. "No, don't blame yourself for anything, Ma Chérie. It was all my fault, every little bit of it. I had grown so accustomed to sleeping around, that my brain and body hadn't completely registered what a relationship is. It still hasn't, well my brain caught on but not my body. Please don't blame yourself." He replied, calmly his voice low and tinged with drowsiness. He offered a small smile and turned her hand after pulling it off his cheek. He gently kissed the back of her hand, lacing their fingers. "I would love nothing more than to break my habits. It will take some time, obviously. But I'm sure I've matured enough to accept a relationship. But i'm still afraid that I'll mess up again. So just please bare with me for a while." He added, sullenly.
He kept his gaze on her, showing nothing more than sincerity and adoration in his eyes. His body was too week with fatique to use his motions, so his eyes would have to work for now.

Bette smiled at what he said to her, he was still special. And when he said he would try to stop. Her smile got only bigger, with a sigh she nodded, but could see he was beat. "Let me take you home, your to tired to drive" She stood to the side and wrapped an arm around him. Smiled at him and took out her car keys, her nice car was across the street. "I would like to stay with you for the night, I want to make sure you get enough sleep. You have been busy, your still the best cook in the restaurant. What is kind of funny is, ive been modelling for a few months. I have enough money to open my own restaurant, and I would hire you as the boss of the kitchen. But we can talk about that tomorrow" Bette couldn't help but smile at the thought of another relationship.
She was willing to try, she couldn't stop loving him. Couldn't stop thinking about him. Everything had hit her so hard, she was almost afraid this was a dream. She spent a lot of money to find her long lost love. And this was the chance now, Bette opened up the car door and waited for him to get in. Lucian was sweet, and food was a passion of his. He had cooked for her many times, and each dish he made was perfect. A soft hum came to her as she was humming a song they had danced to. The past was magical in it's own right, everything seemed perfect. Bette was tired herself, she didn't want to be alone, not after finding him. She was back with him, and would never hurt him again.

you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Lucian gave a deep yawn, his mind finally registering just how weary his body was. He could barely concentrate on anything and his body twitched when she wrapped an arm around him. He reached up with one hand and rubbed the drowsiness from his eyes, but found it to be useless. He blinked twice, then looked down at Bette. He gave a small smile and let her walk him to her car. He decided to come back for his car tomorrow or sometime later. Right now all he wanted was to relax and spend some time with his first love. He used whatever strength was left in him to keep a good percentage of his body weight off of her, given the fact he was a good foot taller than her and he didn't want her to have to carry his dead weight.
He yawned again, catching part of what she's saying. He let a small smirk grace his features and looked up in thought. "Don't I do that already?" He asked, more to himself. He was usually the one everyone depended on and mostly kept things in line. It was in his nature to make sure things ran smoothly, but he was just a lowly worker, he didn't own the restaurant and certainly wasn't the boss of the kitchen, though it felt like it. He gave a light laugh as she commented on him being the best cook in the restaurant. "I wouldn't say I'm the best...but yeah they do depend on me for a lot of things." He added, modestly. He drug his weary body off of her and stood up straight, forcing himself to slide into the car without any help. This was a difficult task since his legs felt like they had weights tied to them. He gave a low groan, forcing his muscles to work for him and finally got himself inside.
He leaned back on the seat after buckling himself in. He rested his head against the top of the seat and he felt his entire body, every muscle, ever nerve ending, and every cell relax. He let out a long, satisfied sigh and closed his eyes. He had been on his feet all day and wanted nothing more than to curl up on his bed or even the couch since that would be the case that he couldn't make it to his bedroom. He opened his eyes as he heard her singing, then it registered in his head what she had said before. The parts he thought he had missed flooded into his memory. He gave a pleased smile. "I don't have to sleep alone tonight. Because I really wasn't in the mood to go hunting for some woman in a club. Not tonight, I'm drained." He mused, glancing toward Bette and grinning.
He leaned his head on the window and stared at the scenery flashing by, his eyes slowly drooping closed again. "It'll be nice to wake up to someone I know for once. I've missed ma chérie." He added before slowly dozing off to sleep.

Bette smiled looking at Lucian, he had worked so hard that day. But that is how he always was. She smiled at the comments and even laughed with him. Bette was glad she was there with him, in a way he had changed. He never tried to stop sleeping around, but now he tries hard. It's some what of a sad thing, she loved him more then life. And enjoyed everything about him. She wasn't going to run away, not again. She had been alone for months, and didn't like it. Didn't care for it. But things happen for a reason, now here they were.
Enjoying one another, loving the moment. After a few minutes they got to his home and she watched as he seemed to pass out, she checked him over and pulled a sheet over him. She removed her shoes and jacket, she was humming lowly. Making sure not to wake him up. She crawled into the spot beside him on the bed and cuddled up to him. Bette smiled even more, he was still the wise ass. But she loved him for it, she refused to let him go. She would help him.
He was the only person left in her world, Bette didn't even know when she fell asleep. She had a dream, it was the two of them. Then she saw here parents in her dream, saying they were proud of her. To be patient for Lucian, she sat up quickly. A bead of sweat fell down her cheek. She was panting, and laid back down, closing her eyes. And fell back to sleep, another dream came to her, but it was a good one. One that made her smile, she saw herself with Lucian and they had a family. She wondered if that would ever happen to the two of them.
Bette loved to think about it, slowly she started to wake up. Even though she was still trying to wake up. She yawned a bit and stretched. For a moment she forgot where she was. Sitting up she see's she is alone on the bed. Standing up she walked out of the room. Bette checked her cell phone messages, and shut her phone off. She wasn't working today, and no one would tell her other wise. Today was a day for Lucian and herself, time to talk.

you heard that i was trouble , BUT YOU COULDN'T RESISTJ U S T T A K E A B I T E L E T M E S H A K E U P Y O U R W O R L D- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Lucian didn't remember much about last night. It was a bad habit of his, when he was tired everything around seemed to just disappear from his memory. He wasn't sure when or how he got into his apartment. All he remembered was getting off work and the rest was a blank in his head. He woke up early that day, a habit that had been beat into him because of his job. He decided to take the day off and would call the restaurant as soon as he got up. The problem now was actually getting up. He laid flat on his stomach, arms tucked under the pillow. He took a deep breath and pushed himself up onto his knees, stretching out his long, lean frame. He let out a low groan, feeling a few bones pop and sighed as he pushed himself up to sit on his knees.
He only caught the smallest glimpse of a feminine frame sleeping peacefully on the bed beside him. His mind was still clouded with drowsiness and his eyes were barely open. He quickly rubbed his eyes and pushed it off as him possibly coming home with someone last night. He wasn't sure who, but he didn't remember going to the club like he usually did after work. He shook his hea,d not paying it any attention and slid off the bed. He was still dressed in the same clothes from last night, which schocked him. He ran a hand through his hair and left the room to make something to eat. After a few minutes he heard movement from the bedroom, but didn't pay attention to it. He glanced up for a moment and caught a glimpse of the girl's face. Then it all came back to him.
He felt horrible for forgetting about last night. He let out a small laugh and continued cooking. He really needed to work on his forgetfulness. "Morning." He greeted, hoping she wouldn't sense his nervousness. He didn't want to hurt her by the fact he had forgotten about last night until now. He shrugged it off and finished making the french toast and then wandered over to the table, setting the plate in the center. He had subconsciously made a little more than usual. He then got two plates just in case and set them on the table. He then glanced toward Bette and gestured for her to sit down. He pulled out a chair for her, using the manners that had been drilled into his head from childhood. He then waited for her to be seated before he sat down to eat.
