t was a fairly nice day outside. a little windy but that that chilly. the sun was shining and it made it great to be out and about. avery had a long night and was ready to get some lunch with his best friend, evan. he strolled down the street and just enjoyed the out doors. he was wearing a light hoodie from aero and some comfortable jeans along with a pair of sunglasses. it wasn't extremely bright out but it was a bit harder to notice people when they had a pair of shades on. now, avery loved attention, especially from his fans but he wanted a more quiet day today and thought he'd just take it easy and attempt to try to blend in. besides, he wanted to get to the cafe on time to talk to his buddy about boys and such. Approaching the restaurant he smiled softly and pushed the door open. a bell rung as he stepped into sherie's. it was a local cafe that had the usuals. coffee, sandwiches, breakfast, and most importantly. their pie. it was what they were famous for. walking in, he looked around. the small shop was fairly empty except for some older folks that were sitting at the bar watching the news. avery smiled at the women, "two please." she nodded and lead him over to the table and gave him a menu to get settled. he took his hoodie off, revealing a black shirt with a rainbow tye-dye panda beat and his pride livestrong bracelet. he wore it everyone. avery smiled at the waitress, "can we start with a coke, easy on the ice and a caramel iced coffee?" he asked sweetly as she wrote it down. after last night he could use a wake up, he had drank way to much. she nodded and headed into the kitchen to get the drinks ready. Sighing lightly he stretched. he didn't expect his friend to be much longer. avery's face seemed to light up when the waitress brought him his coffee, "thank you so much," he stirred the cold coffee with a straw and started to drink it. as he looked up, he saw his best friend walk in and smiled waving her over. "hey babe how are ya?" he asked hugging her and kissing her cheek, like always. "i already got you a drink," he smiled sitting back down and started looking over the menu. he couldn't decided what he was in the mood for. he was thinking about getting an omelette but the panini started to look really good, but so did the chicken wrap. word count -- o , 445 status -- complete tag -- paigels, EVAN~! notes -- sorry , it's weak o; [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Being out during the day, and not in the studio, was really weird for Evan all of the sudden. She was used to being cooped up in the cramped quarters of the out-of-home studio set up and founded by the producer that was currently working on Father Sky’s new album. She was used to looking at the world from inside the rooms of the studio, rather than being out in the brightly lit world where music wasn’t the only thing she talked about. But she’d made plans, and Evan, always the loyal friend to death or an otherwise catastrophic event, always stuck to those plans that she made. Promises were always kept by Evan, even if they were as crazy as you could imagine. Plans were written down and never forgotten. Evan liked to keep things like that in her life; it tended to keep her on people’s good side instead of having them against her and her against them. She was quickly learning how you should keep your friends closest in Hollywood, even if she wasn’t the brightest star in the LA sky. Even if she wasn’t the most famous musician ever known to man, she was still learning how any enemies in this city ended you with some extremely bad publicity and possibly even a drug problem.
That, however, was the last thing she had to worry about today. She was going out with a friend, someone she’d known longer than a lot of the people that she knew say things about her in this town. There were some jealous bitches around Hollywood, and with a body and confidence that Evan had, there were bound to be some girls around the town that would want it. Either way, today was going to be a peaceful one; she just knew it. As she walked down the sidewalk of one of the best cities in the world, her earrings blew with the wind and hid in her hair. It made her question why she’d even worn them that day, but she didn’t think about it too long. Instead, she focused on getting to where she said she would meet Avery for lunch. The air was crisp and the sun was warm, which felt perfect on her tan skin. She’d made the right decision to nix the idea of a hoodie; the weather was too perfect for skinny jeans and a hoodie. However, her hat, sun glasses, and necklace tied the whole outfit together with her boots, which were kind of her signature thing. To be honest, Evan looked like she was about to go shopping rather than just head out to lunch. Eh, she thought, I like this outfit anyway.
Finally, she found the restaurant. It wasn’t so hard to find it, but she smiled at her feat anyway. She stepped right in and held on to her hat as a blast of wind blew at her. It whipped her hair back, but because she knew it would do that and her hand was on her hat, the accessory stayed right where she wanted it. Her smile widened when she moved into the building and found Avery without much problem. Some waitress almost asked her how many people were in her party, but almost rudely (but not really), Evan ignored the girl and moved right past the podium that she was working at, and moved around the room to Avery’s table. Instantly, he greeted her the way she almost expected him to, and she did the same with a hug and kiss on his cheek. When he let her go, Evan smiled again and took a seat at the table. “Hey kid,” she said. Evan called almost everyone kid, so as far as she was concerned she just thought that Avery should have been used to it. “I’m actually extremely excited to be out of the studio for the first time in a week without going home to sleep!” She shrugged a bit at that, but didn’t think much else on what she’d said. “How about yourself? You’re looking quite dashing today, if I do say so myself.”
Evan looked at the drink on the table just for her. Her smile didn’t falter, nor did it grow (it couldn’t really), but she did appreciate the drink. “Thanks!” Sure, soda wasn’t her daily choice of drink but…when you performed on a stage, sang into a microphone, and needed immediate relief, you usually went for a Monster instead. Still, a drink was a drink and the gesture was great. To show that appreciation, Evan brought the drink to her mouth and sipped. Oh my god that is so sweet.
Her mind kept quiet though, because she didn’t want to blurt out the wrong thing and end up offending a friend. It was just a soda, but the train of thought didn’t change because Avery was Evan’s gay bff. “ I missed you, honestly. It feels like forever since we’ve seen each other, Avery!” That thought was such a good distraction, and Evan knew it. She’d said it on purpose, after all. 848 words -- zac/avery! -- i made it all. -- outfit (; -- feels kind of rambly but i like it anyway![/blockquote][/blockquote]
