avery was an only child, born on march sixth. he had lived in los angles his whole life, and in a nice house too. avery was spoiled rotten and got anything he asked for, but that doesn't mean he lived a perfect life. he's parents fought constantly finally when avery was four his dad packed up his shit and got the hell out of there. within the next year, his mother remarried his new father. he was a bit of a tool, and was pretty homophobic. but his mother was in love and he couldn't do anything about it. avery's gayness would be the elephant in the room. around the time of the first divorce he had picked up dancing and stuck with it every since.

in school, things were pretty normal. it was california and the idea of being gay was the last thing people we're fussing over. but one day, a girl had asked avery out to turnabout. being gay, he said now. her reaction? "well you are fat and suck at dancing". despite the awards he had one, and his slender figure this effected him. greatly. he spent double the time on his dancing, went to the gym every day, and became bulimic. it was extreme, but he felt like he had to do it. it was a serious problem and he only stopped after his first and only boyfriend, gaston got him to quite. but after their rough break up he started up again and was much more careful about it.

so now, the situation. avery was in love with gaston and they dated for two years, but after he pushed the idea of sex on him, taking his v-card and abusing him. it was all over for the two of them. but there is a new love interest in avery's life. hercules. sweet, kind, dashing, what else could you ask for? as things progressed with them, things got worse with avery and his ex. he got very stalkerish and protective and doesn't want anyone else to be with avery but him. he'll try anything to get him back and nothing, and no one will stand in his way.

about a year back, avery's step-father came home in a drunk rage and beat avery senseless for being gay. it went on for hours, he was bloody, black, and blue. his mother of course split up with him. she couldn't imagine her baby be hurt like that by her own husband. about six months later she re-married a true gentleman and they seemed to move in right away. he was a much better pick, kind, supportive, genuine. where was he the first time? he had two kids, a boy and girl and they would be avery's new step siblings and soon to be new best friends."
